New Banner Header and Fun, Fun, Fun

I think my hubby did a great job on the header, don’t you? It’s awesome sauce all right. But then, so is he. Anyhoo, updates and things time…

…broke out the Christmas story I started writing last year and never finished in time to send to Wild Rose Press. I know, bad of me to not get it done in time. So instead of it being released this year, it will be next year, but that’s all right. Things seem to be moving really slowly lately. Except for the time, which is going faster. Don’t know why, but it’s getting a bit irritating. I’m used to working on something and finishing it up soon and moving on to the next project. But what evs, that’s all part of the biz. I also have an idea for another one that I’m going to try and bang out before March. It will be much shorter so it will probably go a lot quicker. The premise is fun, flirty and an homage to one of my most favorite Christmas stories of all times, so I’m hoping it goes a lot faster than the other one. Honestly, I would have had the first one done, but got hit with edits for books already contracted and missed the deadline. But then I’d only decided in mid-Jan to write something for a March 1 deadline. Not smart. I did make it to the last few chapters of the book though, so I got really close — which I’m thinking made the frustration over not getting it done even more intense.

I’m still working on the sequel to Bad Religion, so those of you who were waiting, it’s coming along. I have vacation scheduled beginning the second week in January, so I’m hoping to finish it and get it sent out then. (Hey, I only have about 35K more to write on it. hahha)

After that, I think I might do the third book in my dimensional travel series at Samhain. Why not? It features cyborgs. Whoohoo…fun. Man and machina.(Great, now I have the song Mr. Roboto going through my head.)

I’m also working on another project under a new pen name for the Wilder Rose catalog. I know…don’t say it. I assure you, I can juggle four names. It’s easy. It’s like having kids. Most people say after the second and third the number no longer matters. I recently saw one very popular New York Times bestselling author’s bio and it listed about 7 different pens names. So, I don’t feel really bad with four, I figure I’m in really great company. And well, maybe it will bring me luck.
